A new generation of commercial farm model
In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Remote embarked on a journey to enhance the farming livelihoods of 2,000 stakeholder families. The project spans 1,200 hectares in rural Nasho, Rwanda.
As main contractor, we orchestrated five tracks of expansion and modernization:
A road network
The pumping station
The power generation and connection
Water transmission network
The farm’s warehousing, administration and residences
We prepared the 1,200 hectares of agricultural land for use before cultivation. We are told yields have increased five-fold over the years.
