Supporting the modernization of the Heineken factory in Rwanda

We were hired to do the lakeside excavation, fill and stabilization of the future site of a waste water treatment plant for Heineken. Working next to the water meant penetration of the excavated areas by water requiring us to be safe, shore the excavation properly, pumping to de-water, installing geotextile, and maintaining the engineer’s specifications.

During the project we contributed our own geotechnical expertise in-house to make material suggestions based on what we saw as we progressed, based on our experience working in the Rwandan environment with Rwandan soils and construction methodology.
