A sports arena in pursuit of dreams

An NBA player partnered with an international school in Goma, DRC to realize his dream of building the first indoor arena in Congo. Remote was entrusted to design and build the arena in a very challenging place to work.

The designated site was otherwise without modern infrastructure and yet the specifications had to meet the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) standards right down to the basketball rims which we also supplied.

Special teams do special things

The procurement of rubber sport court and telescopic bleachers meant Remote needed to visit & coordinate with several international suppliers to both supply the specialized equipment and also install and train the Congolese operations & maintenance team.

We are proud to say that the arena has since hosted many national and international competitions in various sports.
