Developing Safe & Secure Storage in Congo

For years the Congo-Rwanda border had insufficient storage space to manage the thousands of products that arrive every single day by truck. The material — big and small — needed a safe and secure bonded location that customs and security officials could assess before distribution to the market.

Remote built that space as the Main Contractor. The superstructure is of reinforced concrete and steel, with a heavy concrete foundation to cater for the extreme loads and seismic activity in the volcanic region.
